We represent policyholders, never insurance companies.
Why WMC?
WMC works closely with clients to review coverage and then prepare, submit, and negotiate insurance claims. In consultation with WMC, clients themselves decide whether to settle.
No “Up Front” Fees or Expenses
WMC will perform legal services on a pure contingency fee basis in many cases. In those cases our clients pay nothing for legal fees unless they recover money exceeding applicable deductibles and prior insurer payments. In addition, WMC may advance costs and expenses, to be repaid only if there is a recovery.

WMC's Loss Recovery Process
1. WMC reviews your policies and other contracts.
Our attorneys will review your insurance policies to help put you in a strong position to make a coverage claim if a disaster strikes. The document review process may encompass other contracts and product warranties (such as painting contracts, roofing contracts, and window warranties).
2. WMC helps you document your property’s condition.
Before a disaster strikes, we will advise you on how to make a record of your property’s condition. After a disaster strikes, we will help identify needed loss estimators and experts (such as engineers, adjustors, and knowledgeable contractors) to identify and quantify the value of the damage. We will help coordinate site visits and serve as a liaison among the people involved in preparing and presenting your insurance claim.
3. WMC helps you prepare and submit insurance claims.
Working with you and qualified experts whom we will help select, we will help you prepare your insurance claim. We will help you make sure that the amounts claimed are appropriate while taking full advantage of available coverages. We also will help you comply with the many complex procedures and requirements imposed by insurers.
4. WMC helps you negotiate with insurers.
Insurers often refuse to pay what they owe. We will help you answer follow-up questions and negotiate with insurers in an effort to get what you are owed.
5. If insurers still won’t pay what they owe, WMC litigates and tries cases.
Our team of litigators and trial lawyers is ready to take the insurers to court if they still refuse to pay what they owe. WMC has a national litigation and trial practice.
