Giselle Lombardi Gonzalez Before joining WMC as a Senior Attorney in the Puerto Rico Office, Mrs. Lombardi González worked with Berkan Méndez Law Office, One Stop Career Center Services Inc., and as a solo practitioner. She has extensive experience representing clients on civil matters, such as civil rights litigation under Section 1983, torts, labor, immigration, family and consumer issues. Mrs. Lombardi González provided legal services for Hurricane Maria survivors in Puerto Rico sponsored by Foundation Access to Justice, and One Stop Career Center Services of Puerto Rico, Inc.. Mrs. Lombardi González has vast experience working with elder rights and has a publication titled “La política pública sobre personas de edad avanzada en Puerto Rico: legislación, programas, reglamentos y jurisprudencia.” 79 Rev. Jur. UPR 81 (2010) that was extensively cited in the book Acceso a la Justicia: Derecho Humano Fundamental (In Situm, 2017) written by Puerto Rico Supreme Court Judge Luis F. Estrella Martínez. On 2019, The Puerto Rican Bar Association Journal recently published her article on authentication of business records .titled “La autenticación de los “récords de negocios” en las Reglas de Evidencia de 2009: Mecanismos, casos estatales y federales, retos y propuestas” REV. CAAPR Vol. 77 Núm. 1, 129 (2019). Mrs. Lombardi also has experience planning and providing conferences and continuum legal education courses in areas related to elder law and ethics. Mrs. Lombardi González is deeply committed to promoting access to justice in Puerto Rico and has devoted her career to provide high quality and ethical representation of her clients in all forums. |
