Jennifer Ruiz Jennifer Ruiz focuses on complex litigation cases in both federal and state court. Jennifer graduated from the University of Miami School of Law on a full scholarship. While there, she was Moot Court Board President and represented the school in numerous litigation skills competitions. Jennifer began her career working as a prosecutor for Brevard County, Florida as an Assistant State Attorney. She then went on to serve as Assistant General Counsel with UMWA Health and Retirement Funds in Washington D.C., where she handled complex litigation cases in federal courts throughout the northeastern United States, represented management in negotiating a collective bargaining agreement with its unionized employees and also represented management in employment and arbitration matters. Upon her return to Florida, Jennifer began practicing immigration law, where she eventually became partner at one of the most highly respected and well-known firms in Miami, Florida. Jennifer represented clients in immigration courts and before governmental entities as well as handled numerous appeals on complex and cutting edge immigration issues. Jennifer is dedicated and tenacious in representing her clients and brings all her years of litigation and negotiation experience to help her clients succeed.
