Shane Welch represents insurance policyholders with a focus on disaster recovery litigation. In particular, he assists clients in obtaining relief following the arduous process that often accompanies natural disasters. Shane’s clients benefit from his acute attention to detail and comprehensive approach to complex legal issues.
Following law school, Shane worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development in Pakistan on antiterrorism and narcotics-related legal matters. He went on to work for a large New York-based law firm prior to joining Weisbrod Matteis & Copley while also providing national security expertise to a public interest organization. Shane maintains an active interest in national security-related issues in addition to his work on behalf of natural disaster survivors.
