Celeste is an associate at Weisbrod Matteis & Copley. She earned her law degree from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC and is a member of the Florida Bar Association. She served as a legislative assistant to Congresswoman Jahana Hayes in the United States House of Representatives and studied History as an undergrad at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

She worked with the Democratic Party of Illinois as Voter Protection Director where she led the party’s voter protection initiative during the 2018 election cycle, working with election authorities to preserve voting rights and fight voter suppression. There, she represented the party in media appearances and established a voter protection hotline that served constituents across the state of Illinois.

She is trilingual; a native speaker in English and Spanish, as well as a conversational Italian speaker.
