Alison practices before administrative bodies, federal and state trial courts, and courts of appeals. Her experience includes representing clients in civil rights litigation, business and contract disputes, and criminal defense matters.
Alison is a graduate of The University of Michigan Law School. While in law school, Alison was honored to serve as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judith E. Levy of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. In addition, Alison represented indigent children and families as a student-attorney in The University of Michigan Pediatric Advocacy Clinic. Alison interned at the Office of the Inspector General for the New York Police Department, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and the Department of Justice, contributing to high impact investigations, oversight efforts, and civil rights advocacy nationwide.
Before entering private practice, Alison served as a legal fellow at the Community Defender Division of the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, where she learned to zealously pursue justice for her clients.
